Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 July 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Whubble mobile application ("Whubble", "the app", "the service"). By creating an account or using Whubble, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. The service

Whubble is a family organisation tool providing a shared calendar, chores, budget tracking, grocery lists, meal planning, recipes, and location sharing between members of a household. Some features require an active internet connection. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Accounts and family membership

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaches this section — see §9.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to Whubble — recipes, photos, budget entries, chores, and so on ("your content"). By adding it, you grant us a licence to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the service (for example, showing your recipe photo to the rest of your family, or syncing your calendar events across devices). This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to §6 of our Privacy Policy on shared-family data.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload any photo or content you add, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

6. Premium subscriptions

7. Location services — please read

8. Third-party services

Whubble relies on third-party infrastructure (see our Privacy Policy §5 for the full list — Firebase, Google/Apple sign-in, Google Calendar, OpenStreetMap, AdMob, RevenueCat, and the Apple/Google app stores). We're not responsible for the availability or performance of these third-party services, though we choose providers we consider reliable and reputable.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Whubble and delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or discontinue the service (or parts of it) with reasonable notice where practical.

10. Disclaimers

Whubble is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that location, calendar, or other data will always be accurate or up to date.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whubble and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on location, calendar, or reminder features. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in this section removes any statutory consumer protections you're entitled to in your own country of residence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and where a change is material, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Whubble after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
